Safe Transitions is a Toronto-based nonprofit connecting overcrowded shelters with property managers to provide affordable transitional housing and create space in shelters for incoming emergencies. With the recent surge in domestic violence incidents, we aim to support survivors of gender-based violence and human trafficking. 100% of your donation will go directly to housing a shelter resident and cover rent, utilities, and furnishings as needed for up to a year. Donations will allow the shelter resident to secure safe housing, promoting improvement of their overall health and well-being.
